Seal of the President of the Republic of the Philippines

The Sealion represents the heraldic symbol of Filipinas ultramar. The Katipunan triangle in red represents equality under the law; the Three Stars are for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao; and the Philippine Sun Rayonnantrepresents liberty and freedom. Stamps and Official First Day Covers will be available starting April 5, 2001 (P5.00 & 15.00) and October 5, 2001 (P10.00, P11.00 & P13.00) at the Philatelic Division, Door 203, Liwasang Bonifacio, .1000 Manila and all Regional Offices of the Philippine Postal Corporation.
